Always my favorite genre. I am loving this and your writing is beautiful. Historical memoir, if there is such a thing? Sometimes I pretend that even fiction is that…such as A Gentleman in Moscow.

I think the older we are as authors, the more our life experiences end up in our books! We are certainly finding that as we write our seasoned romance in my writing group. Thank you for your encouraging feedback about my 'Snapshots'. I wasn't sure how the early ones would be received, as I have so far written about my mother and father, rather than my own experiences and memories of them. I'm not sure what category that fits into!
