The ‘Live’ Experience 😂
Oh my goodness, how wonderful was Wendi, keeping the show going while I disappeared for about 15-20 minutes!
What Happened
The interview started at midnight my time in Western Australia. That’s about when I would normally plug my iPhone into its charger, and it didn’t occur to me to do so, even though my iPhone had been on all day. So, of course, after the first third of the interview, my phone simply died on me!
Once you come out of a ‘Live’, I discovered that you can’t get back in, and there’s no way of signing up with the previous link. The message you get is that the Live has ended. Eventually, I managed to see that Wendi was still on camera and had the presence of mind to send a message to her in the chat.
So the moral of the story is—always make sure your iPhone is fully charged or plugged into a charger!
The Interview
I so enjoyed being interviewed by Wendi, and was amazed by how much we had in common.
I’m relieved that the first one is over now, and I survived the big stuff-up!
It’s broken the ice, and now I think I’ll actually be creating videos, after a fifteen-year intermission.
